Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with almost 10 years experience providing individual therapy. I am a graduate of Cal State Fullerton, and specialize in EMDR therapy and LGBTQ+ affirming therapy. I am a big advocate for taking care of our mental health, and I am so glad you are here because that usually means you are thinking about taking care of yours too!
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns you don’t fully understand, or carrying the impact of past experiences, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
I’m a licensed clinical psychologist (Ph.D.) with a postdoctoral fellowship in integrative health. I have experience working in public mental health, large healthcare systems, and the private sector. I’ve worked with adolescents and adults from diverse backgrounds navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use, and major life stressors.
My approach is holistic, trauma-informed and culturally responsive, and I integrate evidence-based practices to help you better understand how your thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and nervous system interact. Clients often share that they feel both supported and gently challenged in our work together. I aim to meet you with empathy while also helping you move toward meaningful, lasting change.

I am Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have been practicing therapy since November 2015 and licensed since January 2023. The modality I mainly use is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but also pull from other modalities as one modality may not fit all clientele. I have had experience with self-esteem, couples, anxiety (mild to moderate levels), depression (mild levels), grief/loss and end of life. I have work with prior law enforcement experience, substitute teacher (Elementary thru High School), and various other vocational experience. NOTE: I am not a psychiatrist, so I do NOT prescribe medication.
As a therapist, my priority is to create a warm and open space where you feel truly heard and understood to develop a trustworthy and effective therapeutic relationship.
For over 25 years, I have delivered direct social work services to individuals, groups, and communities. Additionally, working with local non-profits and both state and private universities in the Los Angeles area for 12 years has allowed me to serve a wide variety of individuals, families, and group members.
Primary areas of focus include grief and loss, bereavement, depression, life transitions, older adults, intergenerational family matters, women wellness, university students, and assisting immigrants through challenging times in our world today.

I'm Lara -- a real human. I support clients work through blocks to live in alignment with their true values and forgotten desires.
Clients describe me as "authentic, intuitive, warm." I'm client-centered, so ... yes, of course they're right.
I am very honest, caring, real and genuine. Encouragement and support for their future journey.
Do you push yourself to meet high standards, yet it never feels enough? Do doubt and guilt creep in as you strive to meet expectations? Do you often feel alone despite how much you give to others?
When you're used to managing alone, seeking support can feel daunting, you may even doubt that others can truly help. But I'm glad you're here, and taking this first step toward the support you deserve.
Many of the people I work with feel caught in a strong internal system shaped by high standards, chronic worry, and a persistent inner critic that can feel harsh or difficult to quiet. This often shows up as patterns of over functioning, people-pleasing, difficulty feeling “enough,” or getting stuck in cycles of anxiety and self-criticism. I also support clients experiencing intrusive thoughts and compulsive patterns, as well as those impacted by earlier life experiences that continue to shape how they respond to current stress.
I am an Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist and work from a parts-based lens to help you understand and relate differently to these internal patterns. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as needed, and I am trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) for anxiety and OCD.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 15 years of experience holding cross-state licensure in California and Nevada. I work with a wide range of populations and specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and life transitions. I am a firm believer that in order to achieve overall wellness, one must place priority on creating a life that feels good on the inside rather than a life that looks good from the outside. The wider the discrepancy between the two, the greater the distress and unhappiness we experience within ourselves.
My desire to become a therapist started when I was 14 years old. As the unofficial therapist for my high school peers, I witnessed the adverse effects of family problems on their mental and emotional health.
In my free time, I’m passionate about trying new cuisines, discovering new destinations through travel, playing board games, dancing, and enjoying good food with my family and friends.
