“Therapy for kids who don’t think it’s for them, parents in the thick of it, and women who are doing everything for everyone—except themselves.”
Sound like you or someone you love? Well...I’ve got you covered!
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in preteens and teenagers navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, anger, and the complicated space between parents and kids. Much of my experience was built inside a school-based health clinic at the middle school level. Working with students in the middle of their actual world, not just an office. That perspective shapes everything about how I work.
As an elder millennial and a parent, myself, I understand the impossible math of work-life balance. The guilt of feeling stretched too thin and the fear that you’re somehow getting it wrong. You’re not failing your kid. You’re here, and that’s whatmatters.
My approach is warm but direct, grounded in evidence-based practice and genuine connection. I meet kids where they are...not where we think they should be. I work alongside parents as partners, not critics. Because you know your child better than anyone. My job is to help you find each other again.
I also have a passion of working with women of all ages who are navigating careers, life, the world we live in and all of the complexities in between. I provide a judgement free, open space to live your truth and get answers to those questions that keep you up at night.
Hi, I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing experience across acute care, leadership, and education. I’ve worked with children, adolescents, and adults managing depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma, and complex mental health needs. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe in meeting people where they are and creating a safe space to be heard. Together, we’ll build a treatment plan that feels realistic, supportive, and centered around your goals.
Our life experiences affect all of us in unique ways. Many people struggle to integrate what has happened to them in a way that allows them to feel comfortable in their own bodies and have meaningful relationships with others. If you feel stuck with overwhelming emotions or unhelpful patterns, we can work together to get you unstuck.
Whether you are dealing with trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, couples issues, or addiction; I can help. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25 years of experience helping people. I have worked professionally in outpatient behavioral health settings, residential treatment centers, and Hospice. Additionally, I have trained hundreds of other professionals to assist people with their mental health needs.
I have a great deal of experience in trauma informed approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and other modalities. I am trained in EMDR; and my recent professional interests include Internal Family Systems and Somatic Experiencing. Life is not one size fits all and neither is effective treatment. Together we will find the right approach for you. I am looking forward to working with you to help you achieve your goals and become a happier, more fulfilled person!
I am a Native New Yorker With immigrant parents that wanted to leave people better than I found them. I like being able to provide education, support, validation to others without the stigma of mental health and empowering them to live the best quality of life
I am proud to call myself a New Yorker and a South Asian immigrant, who has spent nearly three decades helping clients navigate our healthcare system. I am a licensed Therapist, with additional Masters degrees in communication and management. I have worked both in some of the largest hospital systems including New York Presbyterian and NYU Brooklyn, as well as smaller community clinics and mobile crisis. My diverse experience provides me with a solid foundation of the complexities in dealing with mental health, with a strong knowledge of both therapy and medication management. My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, PTST, OCD and bipolar, in addition to severe mental illness. I enjoy interacting with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including couples and families. I tailor my sessions to meet the individual needs of clients and families.
Hi! I’m Mariel Feld, a licensed clinical social worker with over seven years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges. I specialize in working with people facing depression, trauma, and major life transitions.
I started my career as a litigation attorney in Ireland where I grew up. I spent many years working in law and financial services in the US, Australia, and China. Most recently, I worked as a therapist for a community activist organization.
I was drawn to therapy from my prior career having seen firsthand the enormous value it can bring in improving both the quality and enjoyment of our lives. Therapy offers us a safe space to explore the parts of ourselves we cannot access in the midst of our daily routines. When we get right down to it, the quality of the relationships we have with others flows from the relationship we have with ourselves.
I live in Brooklyn with my husband, our two kids and a mildly anxious dog, whose interest in therapy is limited to eating her feelings. I work with clients both in person, in mid-town Manhattan, and remotely.
I’m a warm, personable, and affirming therapist who welcomes people from all walks of life. I use my own intersectionality to better empathize with and understand the diverse experiences clients bring into the room. I’m collaborative and engaged—offering support while also gently challenging you when it can help you grow. My goal is to create a safe, empowering space where you feel understood, respected, and actively supported on your path forward.
I am a warm and compassionate mental health counselor who offers a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings. I specialize in depression, anxiety disorders, life transitions, and relationship issues.
