Hey, I’m Heather, a licensed clinical social worker & certified KAP therapist. Our work together can be an opportunity to better understand how present behaviors & beliefs are keeping you from your fullest happiness. We'll uncover what's at the root of these challenges & together, create strategies for what you feel is needed: managing stress & anxiety, establishing healthy boundaries, deepening self-awareness, working through loss or creating conscious relationships + more.
I offer a compassionate, honest, supportive and tailored approach to individuals and families seeking therapy. I connect with a diverse population of individuals, from all walks of life and varying ages who suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma and family conflict.
I will hear your story and help you explore and plan to accomplish your goals. I am easy-going, friendly, empathetic, and non-judgmental. I enjoy working with individuals moving through difficult life transitions where they may feel lost. We can find the answers together. We will explore possibilities that will enable you to think more creatively about solutions to current life obstacles, allowing you to live more fully in the present and with greater joy and fulfillment.
My name is May, a bilingual (English and Mandarin) therapist with 6+ years of experience who was born and raised in Shanghai. I came to the U.S. as a teen, and now I live in NYC. I have interned at a public art high school and then a community mental health center in Philadelphia. Previously, I worked at a nonprofit in Brooklyn, helping Asian and Latino immigrant families by providing individual, couple, group and family trauma-informed therapy.
I am Samantha Motie, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with four years of experience supporting women through the unique challenges of motherhood. My work focuses on young mothers, single mothers, and individuals navigating perinatal mental health, including pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the emotional transitions that come with this stage of life.
I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel seen, heard, and supported. I understand that accessing therapy as a parent—especially with young children at home—can be challenging, so I strive to make the process as adaptable and inclusive as possible. Whether that means flexible scheduling, virtual sessions, or creating space for the realities of parenting during sessions, I aim to meet clients where they are without judgment.
