I’m committed to assisting you in moving forward and making changes in your life through empowerment. Often, individuals feel powerless to make needed changes in their life. As a result, they stop believing in themselves, give up and stop taking the risks they need to in order to make change.
Many of the adults I work with grew up feeling unseen—whether because of childhood trauma, emotionally unavailable parents, or painful relationship patterns. Those early experiences can stay with us, shaping the way we see ourselves and connect with others. Over time, it can feel like you’re stuck in the same cycles, questioning your worth, or struggling to build the relationships you want.
Becoming a therapist felt like a natural calling: a way to combine compassion with practical tools to help people heal, grow, and find balance. Over the years, I’ve seen how therapy can transform lives—restoring hope, strengthening relationships, and helping clients rewrite the stories they tell themselves. That transformation is what inspires me every day to do this work with warmth, empathy, and genuine care. I absolutely love what I do and I feel very blessed to do this work everyday.

My goal in my initial therapy is set a welcoming, warm and comfortable tone. During therapy, I hope that we can work through barriers that can help you better understand what you’re experiencing. Generally, you’ll be the one directing the session. However, through guidance, support and active listening, therapy sessions will allow us to spend time exploring ways for you to grow and increase self-acceptance
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who specializes in working with adolescents, young adults, and the families who love them—especially when things feel like they’re at a breaking point. In my past full-time role, I worked in a residential treatment setting supporting teens and young adults facing challenges like anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, substance use, ADHD, and family conflict. I’ve sat with families during some of their hardest moments—crisis calls, treatment decisions, school refusal, shutdown, and explosive behavior—and I understand how overwhelming and isolating it can feel as the person of concern and parent. What makes my work different is that I don’t just focus on the individual—I work with the system. I help parents and young people rebuild communication, restore trust, and create real, lasting change at home, not just in a therapy room.
