I’m Frances Vadas, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Certified Hypnotherapist with over 25 years of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Counseling from Montclair State University.
My approach is person-centered, strength-based, and eclectic, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and hypnotherapy to support healing and growth. I specialize in helping adults manage anxiety, life transitions, trauma, cancer-related stress, and personality dynamics.
In our work together, you’ll find a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where insight and practical tools come together to help you create meaningful, lasting change.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Central New Jersey. If you’re struggling, please know you don’t have to face it alone. With over 5years of experience, I’ve worked with adults navigating a wide
range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and other mental health challenges. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you feel understood, valued, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life Whether you’re looking for relief from overwhelming emotions, navigating a major life transition, or seeking clarity and balance, I’m here to guide and support you. Together,
we’ll uncover your strengths and create a path toward healing and hope.
Healing is a process of reconnecting with your inner wisdom, resilience, and sense of self. As an EMDR therapist, I support adults navigating trauma, anxiety, and self-esteem through a holistic approach that honors the mind, body, and spirit. I identify as spiritual but not religious, and this perspective meaningfully informs my work. I hold space for intuition, personal meaning, and the deeper, less tangible aspects of healing that often go beyond words. EMDR therapy helps resolve root causes of distress, supporting nervous system regulation and relief from long-held emotional burdens. Reiki, energy perspectives, and symbolic frameworks (like tarot and archetypes) shape how I understand patterns and inner guidance but are not a substitute for psychotherapy.
I work with children, adolescents, and young adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. Many of my clients are used to pushing through stress on their own, caring for others first, or feeling emotionally exhausted and stuck in unhealthy patterns. Together, we work to better understand what’s happening beneath the surface while building practical coping skills to make daily life feel more manageable. I provide virtual therapy throughout New Jersey and am currently accepting new clients.
I’m Christian Muriel, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who works with adults, teens, and families navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, stress, and life transitions. I aim to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel safe, heard, and understood.
Reaching out for help can be difficult, and my goal is to meet you where you are and support you in building clarity, stability, and confidence in your life.
